ErgoKit is committed to protecting the privacy and personal data of therapists, families, and children using the platform. This Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, and protected when using the ErgoKit mobile application.

ErgoKit may collect the following types of information:

Child Profile Information

  • Assigned therapist

Therapy and Assessment Data

  • Progress tracking information

  • Messages exchanged between therapist and family

2. How We Use the Information

Collected information is used to:

  • Provide therapy tracking and progress monitoring

  • Enable communication between therapists and families

  • Manage homework assignments and submissions

  • Improve the functionality and performance of the application

  • Ensure platform security

3. Data Storage and Security

ErgoKit uses Google Firebase services to securely store and manage application data.

Security measures include:

  • Encrypted data transmission (HTTPS)

  • Firebase Authentication

  • Secure Firestore database rules

  • Role-based access control

Only authorized users (therapists and linked families) can access relevant child data.

4. Children's Data

ErgoKit may store limited information related to children for therapy and progress tracking purposes. This information is accessible only to the assigned therapist and the authorized family account.

Parents or legal guardians are responsible for providing consent for the use of a child’s information.

5. Subscriptions and Payments

ErgoKit offers optional premium subscriptions through Apple In-App Purchases.

Payment transactions are processed by Apple and ErgoKit does not collect or store payment information.

6. Data Sharing

ErgoKit does not sell or rent personal data.

Data may only be shared with trusted service providers necessary to operate the platform, such as:

  • Firebase (Google)

  • Apple App Store services

7. User Rights

Users may request:

  • Access to their stored data

  • Correction of inaccurate information

  • Deletion of their account and associated data

Requests can be submitted through the application support contact.

8. Data Retention

User data is retained only as long as necessary to provide the service or comply with legal obligations.
